Twisted Sister Formation is a climbing area in Oregon, about 3.8 miles from the town of Callahan. It is part of a cluster of climbing spots that sit right together, with Schoolhouse Rocks, Troll's Throne and Tower of Doom all within about a tenth of a mile. The routes here are all sport climbs, and they range from about 5.5 to 5.10b on the YDS scale. Twisted Sister is a 5.8, and Invisabolt is the hardest at 5.10b. The Orton brothers are among the climbers listed in the first ascent credits. The most comfortable months for a visit are typically late spring and early fall. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Riddle show June highs around 80°F and September highs around 84°F, while July and August average highs in the upper 80s with only a couple of wet days a month. That station sits well below the formation, so temperatures at the climb run cooler. Callahans Climbing Trail is about half a mile away, and Morgan Creek offers canoeing about 4 miles out.
