Trillium Lake Crag (Mosquito Butte) is a climbing area in the Zigzag Ranger District of Mt. Hood National Forest in Oregon, managed by the Forest Service. It sits among several other climbing and hiking destinations, with Section 2 and Section 3 just 0.1 mile away and the Trillium Lake Loop hike at the same distance. Summer is the most comfortable time to visit. Typical averages from the nearby Government Camp weather station show July and August highs around 70°F with only about four wet days a month, while winter months bring highs in the mid-30s and rain on most days. The crag has eight routes, split evenly between sport and trad styles, with grades ranging from 5.6 to 5.10+. Among them are the sport route Unnamed 5.6 and the trad route Offwidth Corner Crack at 5.7. The Trillium Lake Loop and Trillium Lake Campground are both within half a mile.
