Kiwanis Camp Crag is a climbing area in Oregon's Mt. Hood National Forest, within the Zigzag Ranger District. The Forest Service manages the land, and the crag sits about 3.5 miles from the Government Camp weather station, which sits roughly 1,100 feet lower than the crag itself, so temperatures here run cooler. Summer is the most comfortable time to visit. Typical averages from the nearby Government Camp station show July and August highs around 70°F with only about four wet days a month, while winter brings highs in the mid-30s and frequent rain. The crag has seven routes, five of them sport and two trad, with grades from 5.6 up to 5.10c/d. Hot tamale is the easiest at 5.6, and Kiwanis Klassic is the hardest at 5.10c/d. The nearby Paradise Park and Laurel Hill Chute hikes are both within a mile, and the Zigzag River offers paddling about a mile away. Camp Creek campground is roughly 2.8 miles off.
