Coethedral Main is a climbing area in Oregon's Mt. Hood National Forest, within the Clackamas River Ranger District. The land is managed by the Forest Service. The climbing here is focused on sport routes, with 18 sport routes and one trad route among the 19 listed. The grade range runs from 5.5 to 5.11, with a median of 5.8. Some of the named routes include Coeconut bridge at 5.5, Runaway Weasel at 5.8 and Excalibur at 5.9+. Summer is the most comfortable time to climb. Typical averages from a nearby weather station at Government Camp show July and August highs around 70°F with only about four wet days a month. Winter is much colder and wetter, with highs in the mid-30s and 20 or more wet days a month from November through January. Coethedral, another climbing area, sits about a mile away. Fish Creek Mountain and Alder Flat are hiking options within about 2 miles. For an overnight base, Indian Henry Campground is about 2.5 miles off.
