Meadow Trail is an easy, out-and-back hike of about 3.7 miles in the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area in Oregon, managed by the Forest Service. The trail is flat, with no elevation gain, and the steepest stretch comes at about 1.6 miles in, with a grade of about 3 percent. Summer is the warmest time to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Troutdale run to highs around 81°F in July and August, while winter highs sit in the mid-40s. Old Channel is about 0.4 miles away, and Meadow Road and the Meadow hike are each about a mile off. Climbers can find (1) North Face roughly 1.4 miles away.
