Boundary is a 4-mile out-and-back hike in the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area in Oregon, managed by the Forest Service. The trail is rated moderate, and the route stays nearly flat, with a high point of 39 feet and a low of 23 feet. The steepest stretch comes at about 0.45 miles in, with a grade of about 2 percent. Summer is the warmest time to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Troutdale run to highs around 81°F in July and August, with lows near 56°F. Winter is much cooler, with January highs around 44°F and lows near 35°F. Several other trails start close by, including Ranch Dike, Confluence and Meadow, each about 0.1 mile away. Climbers can find the (1) North Face area about 0.3 mile off.
