Boundary Campground is a rustic Forest Service site in the Eagle Cap Ranger District of the Wallowa-Whitman National Forest, on the northern edge of the Eagle Cap Wilderness. It sits along the Bear Creek riparian area, about 8 tent-only campsites, two of which are accessible, make up the site. The Bear Creek Trailhead is nearby, and the campground is a base for fishing, picnicking and family camping. Summer is the most comfortable time to visit. Typical averages from the nearby Wallowa weather station show July and August highs around 88°F with only about four wet days a month, while winter brings highs in the mid-30s and regular snow from December through February. Vault toilets are the only amenity. A fee is charged for recreation here.
