Arrow Forest Camp is a small, three-unit Forest Service campground on the Wild and Scenic Lostine River in eastern Oregon, about 20 miles from the town of Joseph. It sits in a cool fir and pine forest within the Eagle Cap Ranger District of the Wallowa-Whitman National Forest, and its use season runs from June through early October, when it draws local and regional campers heading to Lostine Canyon and the Eagle Cap Wilderness. Summer is the most comfortable time to visit. Typical averages from the nearby Joseph weather station show July and August highs around 79 to 80°F with only five or six wet days a month, while temperatures at the camp run cooler than those figures. The site has vault toilets. Fees apply, and two other campgrounds, Shady Campground and Turkey Flat Forest Camp, are each about 0.7 miles away. Within about 1.6 miles are the Maxwell Lake Trail and the Minam Lake Trail.
