Lostine Corridor Campground is a Forest Service site in the Eagle Cap Ranger District of the Wallowa-Whitman National Forest in northeastern Oregon. It sits among a cluster of recreation spots in the Lostine Corridor, and the Forest Service lists each location separately, so this one is described on its own. No fees are required to use the site, which makes it an easy stop to add to a trip through the corridor. Summer is the most comfortable time to visit. Typical averages from the nearby Joseph weather station show July and August highs around 79 to 80°F with only five or six wet days a month, while winter highs stay in the mid-30s. The Lostine River is just 0.2 miles away, and Walla Walla Forest Camp is 0.3 miles off. Irondyke Forest Camp and the Francis Lake Trail are both within about a mile and a half.
