Walla Walla Forest Camp is a small Forest Service campground in the Eagle Cap Ranger District of the Wallowa-Whitman National Forest in northeastern Oregon. It sits along the Wild and Scenic Lostine River, in a cool fir and pine forest, and is a popular summer base for visitors heading to Lostine Canyon and the Eagle Cap Wilderness. Summer is the most comfortable time to visit. Typical averages from the nearby Joseph weather station show July and August highs around 79 to 80°F with only five or six wet days a month, while winter highs stay in the mid-30s. Vault toilets are the only amenity at the camp, and a fee is charged for stays. Lostine Corridor Campground is just 0.3 miles away, and the Lostine River offers canoeing about half a mile off. Irondyke Forest Camp and the Francis Lake Trail are both within about 2 miles.
