Nameless Area is a bouldering area within the Mohonk Preserve in New York, a non-governmental organization-managed land unit. It sits among several other named climbing areas, including j. The Yellow Wall and The Seasons and Boxcar Area, both about 0.1 mile away. The area holds 10 boulder routes, ranging from V0 to V9. Among them are Marrakesh, aka Nameless Traverse (V2), Marrakesh Express, aka Murrays Traverse (V6) and Yikes (V9). The median grade is V5. For timing, late spring through early fall is the most comfortable stretch. Typical averages from the nearby Mohonk Lake weather station run from highs around 71°F in May to about 83°F in July, with September easing back to about 73°F. The Old Minnewaska Trail lies about a mile away, and the Millbrook Ridge Trail and King's Lane are within roughly a mile and a half for a hike after climbing.
