Steel Bridge Boulders is a bouldering area within Mohonk Preserve in New York, managed by a non-governmental organization. It sits among a cluster of climbing and hiking spots, with the Terrace Area and the Millbrook Ridge Trail both about 0.1 mile away. The boulders here range from easy to challenging, with 19 routes on record, all bouldering. Grades run from V0- up to V11, so climbers of all levels can find something to work on. Among the named routes are Boulder of the Gods at V0- and Karajo at V11, with New Pair of Glasses at V7, first climbed by Ivan Greene. For timing, late spring through early fall is the most comfortable stretch. Typical averages from the nearby Mohonk Lake weather station show May highs around 71°F and September highs around 73°F, with July peaking near 83°F. Winter brings frequent snow days, with January highs around 34°F. The Keyhole Cliff area and the Old Minnewaska Trail are also close by, and the Trapps Trail lies about 1.3 miles away.
