Upper Tyrolian Bypass is a short, easy mountain biking route in Nevada's Lake Tahoe Basin Management Unit, managed by the Forest Service. The ride is an out-and-back of about 1.2 miles, with a total elevation gain of roughly 500 feet. The high point is about 8,595 feet, and the low point is about 8,336 feet, so the climb is a modest one for a day on the trail. The route starts near the Tahoe Meadows Trailhead, and the Upper Tyrolian Trail and the Upper Tyrolian Entrance Trail both lie about 0.2 miles away. Incline Lake Creek is also close by, about 0.2 miles off, and offers a hiking option for those who want to pair a ride with a walk. Mt. Rose Campground is about 1.9 miles away, and the climbing area at Main Rock is about 1.6 miles away. For anglers, Lake Tahoe's North Shore is about 5.6 miles away.
