Gray Creek is a mountain biking route in the Mt. Rose Wilderness, part of the Carson Ranger District of the Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest in Nevada. The Forest Service manages the land, and the route sits about 0.85 miles long, with a one-way climb of 329 feet from a start elevation of 9,417 feet to a high point of 9,417 feet. Wait, that can't be right. Let me check again. The route starts at 9,417 feet and ends at 9,064 feet, with a total descent of 421 feet and a climb of 329 feet. The steepest stretch comes early, at about 0.14 miles in, where the grade reaches 13 percent. So it's a short ride that ascends a little before dropping back down.
