White Rock - Willow Springs is an easy out-and-back hike on Bureau of Land Management land in Nevada, within the Red Rock/Sloan Field Office. The route is about 3.3 miles long, with a one-way elevation gain of 419 feet, taking you from a low point around 4,406 feet to a high of about 4,873 feet. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show April highs around 70°F and October highs around 75°F, while July and August average in the mid-90s. The hike sits close to several other destinations. The Keystone Thrust Trail is just 0.1 mile away, and the Enclaves and White Rock Springs North climbing area is about 0.6 mile off. Angel Food Wall and White Rock Spring are each within a mile. For an overnight stay, Red Rock Canyon Campground is about 6 miles away.
