Keystone Thrust Trail is a 2.05-mile easy hike in Nevada's La Madre Mountain Wilderness, part of the Bureau of Land Management's Red Rock/Sloan Field Office. It is a short out-and-back with a one-way climb of 251 feet, rising from about 4,940 feet to about 5,244 feet. The route is on natural surface, and the BLM allows horses. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to go. A nearby weather station records typical October averages of about 75°F for the high and 50°F for the low. That station sits roughly 1,460 feet below the trail, so temperatures on the trail run cooler. The White Rock - Willow Springs hike starts just 0.1 mile away. Climbers can head to The Enclaves and White Rock Springs North, about 0.6 mile off, and Angel Food Wall, about 0.8 mile off. For an overnight stay, Red Rock Canyon Campground is about 6 miles away.
