Dale's Trail is a 4.1-mile out-and-back hike on Bureau of Land Management land in the Red Rock/Sloan Field Office in Nevada, about 4 miles from Red Rock Canyon Campground. The trail rises from a low point of about 3,986 feet to a high of about 4,342 feet, with a total elevation gain of 422 feet. It is rated moderate. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show April highs around 70°F and October highs around 75°F, while July and August average in the mid-90s. Horses are allowed, and the trail surface is natural. Bikes are not. The Pine Creek Trail starts about 0.3 miles away, and the Flight Path Area climbing area is about half a mile off. Red Rock Canyon Campground is about 5 miles away.
