Clary Coulee is a hard hike in the Rocky Mountain Ranger District of Helena-Lewis and Clark National Forest in Montana, about 14 miles long with a one-way elevation gain of about 2,000 feet. The trail is natural-surfaced and open to both horses and bikes, and it is not an accessible route. The climb starts at about 5,155 feet and reaches a high point of about 7,336 feet. It is an out-and-back route, so the total round-trip gain is about 4,000 feet. Tears of a Clown, a climbing area, sits about half a mile away, and Indian Head Rock is a hike about 0.7 miles off. Cave Mountain Campground is about a mile away, and the Route Creek Pass hike is about 1.7 miles away.
