Wildwood Trail is a 1.4-mile point-to-point hike in Connecticut, about 1.3 miles from the town of Arnolds. It's an easy walk with a low elevation gain of 310 feet, and the trail's rolling terrain makes it a straightforward outing for a short outing on foot. The trail starts at about 324 feet and reaches a high point of 529 feet. The steepest stretch comes at about the 1.3-mile mark, with a grade of nearly 39%, though it's a brief climb rather than a long, steep section. Bikes and horses are not allowed. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Meriden run from highs around 70°F in May to about 64°F in October, while July highs average in the mid-80s. Washburn Trail lies less than a mile away, and Pad Crag offers climbing about a mile off. Old Forest Trail and North Pattaconk Trail are within 2.5 miles.
