Lost Elden is a climbing area in the Flagstaff Ranger District of Coconino National Forest in Arizona, managed by the Forest Service. It sits among a cluster of other climbing and hiking destinations, with Fatman's Loop and the Forces of Nature Trail both about 0.3 miles away. The area has eight routes, six of which are trad and two mixed. Grades run from 5.8 up to 5.12, with the hardest being the Unknown aka Lost Elden Crack. Cubasco and Remudadero are both 5.10+ trad routes, and Cleopatra is a 5.11+ mixed route. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Flagstaff show May highs around 68°F and October highs around 64°F, while July and August bring the most wet days. Nearby climbing includes the Porcini area and Lower Middle Elden Canyon, both about 0.7 miles away. Little Elden Springs Horsecamp is about 2.9 miles off, and Lockett Meadow Campground is about 9 miles away.
