Lower Middle Elden Canyon is a climbing area in the Flagstaff Ranger District of Coconino National Forest in Arizona, managed by the Forest Service. It sits among a cluster of climbing spots, with the Porcini area and The Godfather Area both about 0.1 mile away. The canyon's single route, 8 Nikkis Tall, is a trad climb rated 5.9+ on the YDS scale. It was first ascended by Dean Hoffman and Nikki Leger. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station at Ft Valley, about 8 miles away, show May highs around 71°F and October highs around 66°F, while July and August bring the most wet days of the year. For more climbing, the Pipeline mountain biking trail is 0.3 mile away. Little Elden Springs Horsecamp, about 3 miles off, offers camping.
