The Godfather Area is a climbing area in the Flagstaff Ranger District of Coconino National Forest in Arizona, managed by the Forest Service. It sits among a cluster of climbing spots, with Tower Station and Middle Elden each about 0.1 mile away. The area is known for its sport climbing, with seven routes in total, six of them sport and one trad. Grades run from 5.10- to 5.12+, and the route named The Godfather is a 5.11- sport climb. Sombrero De Droga is the only trad route, a 5.10-. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station at Ft Valley, about 8 miles away, show May highs around 71°F and October highs around 66°F, while July and August bring the most wet days.
