Middle Elden is a bouldering area in the Flagstaff Ranger District of Coconino National Forest in Arizona, managed by the Forest Service. It sits among a cluster of climbing spots, with The Godfather Area and Tower Station each about 0.1 mile away. The climbing here is all bouldering, and the routes run from V0 to V8. Yá’át’ééh is the easiest at V0, and Tree Lobster is the hardest at V8. The area is small, with only four routes, so it works well as a short stop rather than a full day's outing. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station at Ft Valley show May highs around 71°F and October highs around 66°F, while July and August bring the most wet days of the year. For more climbing, The Godfather Area and Tower Station are right next door. Little Elden Springs Horsecamp is about 2.9 miles away for an overnight stay, and Lockett Meadow Campground is about 8.7 miles away.
