Dawa #188 is an easy out-and-back hike in the Red Rock Ranger District of Coconino National Forest in Arizona, about 3.5 miles long with a total elevation gain of 70 feet. The trail runs from the Dawa Trailhead, where the parking is labeled DAWA, and it is managed by the Forest Service. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Sedona show October highs around 79°F with lows near 51°F, and April highs around 75°F with lows near 44°F. Summer highs there climb into the mid-90s. The route is short and gentle, with a low point of about 4,365 feet and a high of about 4,501 feet. Bikes and horses are both allowed.
