Yucca #174E is a short, easy hike in the Red Rock Ranger District of Coconino National Forest in Arizona, about 0.75 miles long with a one-way climb of 72 feet. The Forest Service manages the land, and the trail is close to the town of Sedona, about 4 miles from the nearby Sedona weather station. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to go. Typical averages from that station show April highs around 75°F and October highs around 79°F, while July highs average about 97°F. Bikes are allowed on this route. The Canyon of Fools #174F hike and the Canyon of Fools mountain biking trail both start about 0.1 mile away. The Yucca mountain biking trail is about 0.2 mile off, and the Secret Canyon climbing area is about 0.6 mile away.
