Canyon of Fools #174F is an easy out-and-back hike in the Red Rock Ranger District of Coconino National Forest in Arizona, about 2.4 miles long with a low point of 4,447 feet and a high of 4,641 feet. The Forest Service manages the land, and the route is rated easy, gaining about 191 feet. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Sedona show October highs around 79°F with lows near 51°F, and April highs around 75°F. Summer highs there climb into the mid-90s.
