Boynton Vista is an easy out-and-back hike of about 0.44 miles in Arizona's Red Rock-Secret Mountain Wilderness, within the Red Rock Ranger District of Coconino National Forest. The trail rises about 152 feet from a low point of 4,541 feet to a high point of 4,694 feet. The Forest Service manages the land, and the trailhead is at the Boynton Canyon parking area. The most comfortable months are spring and fall. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Sedona run from highs around 75°F in April to about 79°F in October, while midsummer highs climb into the mid-90s. The Boynton Canyon #47 and Deadman's Pass hikes both start within about 0.2 miles. Climbers can find Secret Canyon and the Dry Creek Road Area about half a mile away.
