Cabin Creek is a 2.8-mile out-and-back hike in Wyoming's Caribou-Targhee National Forest, within the Palisades Ranger District. The trail rises from a low point of about 7,990 feet to a high of about 9,139 feet, a climb of roughly 1,150 feet one way, and it is rated moderate. The Forest Service manages the land, and the trail is open year-round. It is a natural-surface route, and both horses and bikes are allowed. Red Slide sits just 0.1 mile away, and Deadhorse Canyon is about a mile off. For an overnight stay, Wolf Creek Campground is about 4.6 miles away, and The Goat Cave climbing area is about 4.4 miles away.
