The Goat Cave is a sport climbing area in the Jackson Ranger District of Bridger-Teton National Forest in Wyoming, managed by the Forest Service. It sits among a cluster of trails and campgrounds, with Red Creek just 0.3 miles away and Little Cottonwood Group campground 0.7 miles off. The climbing here is all sport, and the routes run from about 5.9+ up to 5.13-. The median grade is 5.12b, with several named routes in that range, including Don't Believe The Hype at 5.11b, Paul's Boutique at 5.12c and Sayanora at 5.13-. Summer is the most comfortable time to climb. Typical averages from the nearby Jackson weather station show July highs around 79°F with lows near 41°F, while winter brings highs in the mid-20s and regular snow days from November through March.
