Divide is a hard out-and-back hike in Wyoming's Caribou-Targhee National Forest, within the Palisades Ranger District. The trail is about 39 miles long, with a one-way elevation gain of 1,597 feet, taking you from a low point of 7,483 feet to a high of 9,966 feet. The Forest Service manages the land, and the route is on natural surface, with horses and bikes allowed. The trip is open year-round, and the surrounding area offers several other options. Red Slide and Cabin Creek are both hikes about 1.5 miles away. Wolf Creek Campground is about 3.2 miles off, and The Goat Cave, a climbing area, is about 2.9 miles away.
