Points Unknown is an easy out-and-back hike in Tennessee, about 0.5 miles from the town of Collegedale. The trail is roughly 2.6 miles long, with a low point of 1,050 feet and a high of 1,211 feet. The steepest stretch comes at about 0.6 miles, with a grade of 11 percent, and the one-way climb is about 190 feet. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to go.
