Krebs Cycle is a moderate out-and-back hike in Tennessee, about half a mile from Collegedale. The route is roughly 2.3 miles long, and the one-way climb from the starting point of 1,068 feet reaches a high of 1,103 feet. The steepest stretch comes at about 0.76 miles in, where the grade reaches 11%. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Chattanooga show October highs around 74°F with lows near 51°F, and April is similar, while July and August average highs around 90°F. Several other hikes sit right beside Krebs Cycle, including Copperhead and Mid Ridge, each about 0.1 mile away, and Coyote at 0.2 mile. Climbers can head to Goliath wall, about 0.8 mile away.
