Pulley Area is a bouldering area in Pennsylvania, about a mile from the community of Mount Gretna Heights. It sits among a cluster of climbing spots, with The Adjustor Boulder, Smiley Boulder and the Smiley Area all within about a tenth of a mile. The climbing here is all bouldering, and the routes range from V0 to V9-10, with the median grade around V2. The most comfortable months for a visit are late spring and early fall. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Lebanon put May highs around 72°F and September highs around 76°F, while July runs warmer at about 84°F. The routes include Bow Hunter at V0, Sumbitch at V0+, and Profile of a Fugitive at V9-10. The Fraggle Rock Trail, a mountain biking route, is about 0.4 miles away, and the Chautauqua Trail is about 1.1 miles off for hikers.
