Paradise Park is a 2-mile out-and-back hike in Oregon's Mt. Hood National Forest, within the Zigzag Ranger District. The trail is an easy walk that rises about 277 feet from its starting point at roughly 2,825 feet to a high of about 3,037 feet. The climb is front-loaded, with the steepest stretch around 0.68 miles in at about 11%, and the route ends at the same elevation it begins, so it works as a short round trip. Summer is the most comfortable time to go. Typical averages from the nearby Government Camp weather station show July and August highs around 70°F with only about four wet days a month, while winter brings highs in the mid-30s and rain on 20 or more days. The trail's natural surface makes it a simple outing, and it pairs easily with other stops close by. Kiwanis Camp Crag, a climbing area, is less than half a mile away, and the Zigzag River offers paddling about 0.8 miles off. Camp Creek campground lies about 2.4 miles away.
