Broughton Bluff is a climbing area in Oregon's Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area, within the Lewis and Clark State Recreation Site. The land is managed as city land, and the bluff sits among several named climbing areas, making it a compact cluster of rock for climbers to explore. Summer is the warmest stretch. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Troutdale run to highs around 81°F in July and August, with lows near 56°F. Winters are cool, with January highs around 44°F and lows near 35°F. The closest climbing areas are (6) Bat Wall, (9) Jungle Cliff and (5) Spring Rock, each about 0.1 mile away. The Lewis & Clark Trail 400 hike starts about 0.4 mile off.
