Three Bears Wall is a climbing area in New York, about 0.3 miles from the town of Ramapo. It sits among a cluster of other climbing spots, with The Tower Wall, Dave's Wall and Sunny Picnics all within about a tenth of a mile. The White Diamond Trail is also close by, making it easy to pair a climb with a walk. The area is known for its mixed climbing, with seven routes in total. Six are mixed and one is trad, and the grades run from 5.4 to 5.6. The routes include Baby Bear and Papa Bear at 5.4, Goldilocks at 5.5, and Mama Bear, a trad route at 5.6. Hot Porridge and Risky Bear are also 5.6. For timing, late spring and early fall are the most comfortable. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show May highs around 71°F and September highs around 76°F, with July peaking near 84°F. Nearby, the 7 Hills Trail and Seven Hills are about 0.7 miles away. Across the state line in New Jersey, the Ramapo River offers fishing about 4 miles off, and Monksville Reservoir is roughly 8 miles away.
