Dave's Wall is a climbing area in Harriman State Park in New York, managed by State Park and Recreation. It sits among several other climbing spots, with Three Bears Wall, k. Tower Wall area and The Tower Wall all about 0.1 mile away, and the White Diamond Trail also within a tenth of a mile. The climbing here is a mix of sport and mixed routes, with 10 routes in total. The grades run from 5.6 up to 5.12b, so there is something for climbers of different abilities. Estrellita is a sport route at 5.6, and Sorry Mom is a sport route at 5.12b. Mixed routes include Seven Pieces of Pro at 5.8+ and Thread the Gap at 5.9. For timing, late spring and early fall are the most comfortable. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show May highs around 71°F and September highs around 76°F, with July the warmest month at about 84°F. Hikers can also reach the 7 Hills Trail and Seven Hills, both about 0.7 mile away. Across the state line in New Jersey, the Ramapo River offers fishing about 4 miles off.
