Keyhole Cliff is a bouldering area within the Mohonk Preserve in New York, managed by a non-governmental organization. It sits among a cluster of climbing spots, with the a1. The Uberfall - left, Doug's Roof and Terrace Area all about 0.1 mile away. The area holds 14 bouldering routes, ranging from V0- to V9 on the V scale. The hardest is Cronin Face at V9, and the oldest is Keyhole Offwidth, first climbed by Doug Kerr in 1951. The Gill Egg, also known as Gill's Route, is a V4. Summer is the warmest stretch for a visit. Typical averages from the nearby Mohonk Lake weather station run from highs around 78°F in June to about 83°F in July, with September easing to highs near 73°F. Winter brings highs in the mid-30s and regular snow days from December through February. Hikers can pair a session with the Millbrook Ridge Trail, about 0.2 mile away, or the Old Minnewaska Trail at roughly 0.7 mile.
