Six Mile is a 11-mile out-and-back hike in the Magdalena Ranger District of Cibola National Forest in northern New Mexico, on land managed by the Forest Service. The trail runs from about 6,822 feet to a high point of 9,891 feet, with a total elevation gain of 3,109 feet. The route is rated hard and is open from roughly May through October. Bikes and horses are both allowed, and the surface is natural. Several other hikes sit within a mile of the trail. Timber Peak is about 0.4 miles away, and Water Canyon Road and South Baldy are each about 0.7 miles away. Water Canyon Campground lies about 3 miles off.
