It sits among a cluster of climbing areas, with Scarry Wall about 0.2 miles away and the Southern Box areas about 0.3 miles off. The closest trails are Box Canyon Road and Gramont Peak Trail, each about 0.4 miles away. The area is a bouldering destination, with nine routes all rated on the V scale from V2 to V7. The easiest are Ripple and Tortoise at V2, and the hardest is The Lightbulb at V7. Terrapin Station is a V3 boulder with a first ascent by Scott Roberts, and American Beauty is a V6 boulder also first climbed by Roberts. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to visit.
