East Fork Sawmill is a hard hike in the Magdalena Ranger District of Cibola National Forest in New Mexico, about 7.7 miles long with a one-way elevation gain of 2,518 feet. The trail is managed by the Forest Service and has a natural surface, and it is open to both horses and bikes. The route is an out-and-back that starts at about 7,485 feet and climbs to roughly 9,940 feet. South Baldy and Water Canyon Road both lie about 0.1 mile away, and North Baldy and Timber Peak are each about 0.3 mile off, so the trail makes an easy anchor for a day of linking nearby hikes. Water Canyon Campground, about 3.5 miles away, is the closest place to camp.
