Right Fork Lamoille is a hard hike in Nevada's Ruby Mountains Wilderness, part of the Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest's Mountain City-Ruby Mountains-Jarbidge Ranger District. The trail is an out-and-back that climbs from a low point of about 7,175 feet to a high of about 10,597 feet, with a total elevation gain of about 4,561 feet over roughly 11.7 miles. The route is on natural surface and bikes are not allowed. The Forest Service manages the land, and the trail is open from about June 15 to October 30. Lions Camp sits just 0.2 miles away, and the Lamoille to Talbot route is about a mile off. Thomas Canyon Campground is about 1.6 miles away, and Lamoille Canyon, a climbing area, is about 2 miles away.
