The Bukit Crag is a bouldering area in Connecticut, about 1.2 miles from the town of Killingworth. It sits among a cluster of climbing spots, with the Blue Trail South (UFO) and Chatfield Weather Caves both about 0.1 mile away, and the Grey Matter Area at a similar distance. The climbing here is all bouldering, with five routes ranging from V0- to V4, and the area is best suited to climbers who enjoy the boulder style. The most comfortable months for a visit are typically late spring and early fall. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Mt Carmel show May highs around 71°F and September highs around 76°F, with July the warmest month at about 85°F. The routes at The Bukit Crag are all bouldering, and they run from the low end of the V scale up to V4. Bali Squirrel is the easiest at V0-, and Uluwatu is the hardest at V4. The area is close to several other climbing spots, including the Chimney Trail and Chatfield Alternate Trail for hiking, and the Hammonasset River for paddling.
