Lemon Boulder is a bouldering area in Connecticut, about half a mile from the town of Killingworth. It sits among a cluster of climbing spots, with Canfield Woods, Book Hill and the Deep River/Essex/Chester area each about 0.1 mile away. The closest trails are Wolf Hollow Trail and the Sensory Interpretive Trail, both about 0.3 mile off. The area has six bouldering routes, all rated on the V scale. The easiest is Warm-Up Slab at V1, and the hardest is New Year at V10-. The median grade runs V5-6. Ben Snyder is listed as the first ascender on several of the routes, including Northwest Arete, Southeast Arete and Dancing Days. For comfortable weather, late spring and early fall are the best bets. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Meriden run from highs around 70°F in May to about 75°F in September, with July the warmest month at about 84°F. That station sits roughly 330 feet lower than the boulders, so temperatures on the rock run a little cooler.
