Big Easy Block is a bouldering area in Connecticut, about 1.8 miles from West Redding. It sits among several other climbing spots, with West Side, Queen Boulder and Umpawaug Wall all about 0.1 mile away, so it works well as part of a day spent exploring the cluster of boulders in this corner of the state. The climbing here is all bouldering, and the routes are rated from V0-1 up to V1-2. The most common grade is V1, with seven routes in total. Camel Walk, The Sloth and You Enjoy Myself are the easiest, at V0-1, and Hobknobbin' is the hardest, at V1-2. Morgan Patterson is listed as the first ascender for several of these. For a change from the rocks, Split Rock Trail and The Lariat are both about 0.6 mile away. Paddlers can head to the Still River, roughly 4.8 miles off, or the Norwalk River, about 7.1 miles away.
