Powerline is a short, easy mountain biking route in the Lake Tahoe Basin Management Unit, managed by the Forest Service, about 2 miles from Tahoe City, California. The out-and-back ride covers roughly 2 miles, with a one-way climb of about 240 feet from a low point of 7,209 feet to a high of 7,447 feet. Summer is the most comfortable time to ride.
