Ocelot is a short, easy mountain biking route in Burton Creek State Park, California, about a mile from the Lake Tahoe Basin Management Unit. The land is managed by State Park and Recreation, and the climb is an out-and-back of about 2 miles, with a low point at 6,910 feet and a high of 7,162 feet. Summer is the most comfortable time to ride. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Tahoe City show July highs around 78°F with lows near 46°F and only about one wet day in the month. That station sits roughly 900 feet lower than the route's high point, so temperatures on the climb run cooler. Angry Bear and Mount Watson Access Road both start about 0.1 mile away.
