Ambush Peak is a climbing area in the Bridger Wilderness, part of the Pinedale Ranger District of the Bridger-Teton National Forest in Wyoming. The Forest Service manages the land, and the peak sits within designated wilderness, which sets it apart as a backcountry destination rather than a developed climbing park. The area is known for its alpine routes, with 12 climbing lines in total, all rated in the 5.6 to 5.12- range. The East Chimney/South Face is the easiest at 5.6, and the North Face of Ambush Peak is the hardest at 5.10+. The I Think Therefore I Ambush route, at 5.12-, is the most difficult of the listed routes. Several other climbing areas lie close by.
