Warbonnet Peak is a climbing area in the Popo Agie Wilderness, part of the Pinedale Ranger District of Bridger-Teton National Forest in Wyoming. The Forest Service manages the land, and the peak sits within designated wilderness, which sets it apart as a backcountry objective rather than a developed climbing destination. The area is a cluster of alpine routes, with 13 climbing lines in total. They range from 5.8 to 5.12c on the YDS scale, and the median grade is 5.11. Among the named routes are Northeast Face, Left at 5.8, Black Elk at 5.11a and Golden Eagle Feathers at 5.12c. The alpine style dominates, and the routes are spread across the peak's faces. Several other climbing areas lie close by. Sundance Pinnacle is about 0.7 miles away and Pingora about 1.3 miles. For a change from rock, the Clear Lake hike is about 1.4 miles off. Big Sandy Campground, roughly 5.8 miles away, offers a place to stay.
