Pingora is a climbing area in Wyoming's Popo Agie Wilderness, within the Washakie Ranger District of Shoshone National Forest. The Forest Service manages the land. Alpine routes make up all nine of the named climbing routes here, and they run from about 5.2 up to 5.11-. East Ledges is the easiest, at 5.2, and The Southerner's is the hardest, at 5.11-, with Cirque of the Towers Traverse and South Buttress at 5.8. First ascents are listed for several of these routes, including East Ledges, which was climbed by Orrin Bonney with Frank and Notsie Garnick, and South Buttress, which Wally Green and Bill Primak did in 1951. Wolfs Head and Shark's Nose are other climbing areas within a mile. The Hailey Pass Trail and Bear Lake are hikes close by.
